Remembering 9/11

September 11th, 2009  |  Published in other

I remember– my heart racing, my body paralyzed with horror and sorrow. People jumping to their deaths, buildings burning down. Fear of more attacks, that the federal building and JPL was going to be another target. Heros are all around us. Firefighters, flight attendants, co-workers, passers-by and volunteers. Life is short and uncertain– live each day as if it were your last. Love as if it were your first. Have the courage to be kind. Live happily. God Bless America and all the families who lost a loved one on 9-11.
